Meta Quest

VR for Work

Producer

Strategist

2021-2022

I was the lead producer to support the launch of Meta's new VR initiatives in the space of work and productivity, a new paradigm shift for how VR can be used as a tool and not just a gaming console. My role was to help define the branding, value props, messaging strategy, and content, as well as to produce creative across digital channels for go-to-market. I launched Meta Horizon Workrooms, a VR meeting app for remote teams to connect and collaborate in VR, and rolled out Meta's VR for Work business unit, a collection of products for teams to work in virtual and mixed reality.

Product Launch

Managed the digital experience for the launch of Meta Horizon Workrooms, Facebook's first VR app created in-house. The launch included defining the key messaging strategy for the product, building a website, adding to the Oculus store, producing 3D assets and video content, and coordinating across teams for the go-to-market product reveal.

Web Strategy

Focused on web production and building new websites and content in support of Meta's push towards supporting work and productivity in the Metaverse. Web support included maintaining Workrooms during product releases, launching a VR for Work landing page, and eventually expanding that landing page into the Meta for Work portfolio launched and announced at Meta Connect 2022.

Meta's new work portfolio brought together 4 disparate brands into a unified work suite that could be utilized with seamless integration by interested businesses. I worked closely with marketing and product teams to define how these products came together, and helped define how each product fit into this new parent brand. I lead the web effort for the MVP launch of this new product in under 3 months from kickoff to launch.
